  1. This cemetery is endangered.

Public Comment Needed: A public meeting will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 7:00 pm to receive public comments on whether to permit the removal of the remains of those buried in the Robert Ball Cemetery in Ballston located at the intersection of Fairfax Drive and North Stafford Street in Arlington, VA. The meeting is at the church that has sold its property (and the cemetery) to a company to build a multi-use subsidized housing building and remove the remains from the cemetery.

Voice your opinion about whether the construction company should be permitted to begin construction and interrupt the project ONLY if the construction crew identifies remains to be removed.

To be sure your comments reach all appropriate authorities and do not just stay with the construction company, send your comments to each of these three additional individuals who will retain and seriously weigh providing the company a permit based on your opinion.
